Forma de tomarlo
How to enjoy it
Uno para tu café de la mañana con leche, otro para sentarte a disfrutarlo solo. Por eso van juntos.
One for your morning coffee with milk, one to sit down and enjoy black. That is why they come together.
Con leche
Su cuerpo y sus notas de chocolate y avellana se integran de maravilla con la leche, para una taza cremosa y golosa. También está estupendo solo: es un café versátil que funciona en cualquier preparación.
With milk
Its body and its notes of chocolate and hazelnut blend beautifully with milk, for a creamy, indulgent cup. It is lovely black too: a versatile coffee that works in any brewing method.
Solo
La forma ideal para este café. Tomado solo brillan su acidez viva y sus notas de caramelo, fresa y mandarina, sin nada que las tape. Con leche también funciona, suavizando la acidez y realzando el caramelo.
Black
The ideal way to drink this coffee. Black, its lively acidity and its notes of caramel, strawberry and mandarin shine with nothing to mask them. It works with milk too, softening the acidity and bringing out the caramel.

Everything about the Colombian Pack
Two Colombian specialty coffees from Huila, 1 kg in total
What is included in the Colombian Pack?
What is in the box
Two 500 g bags, 1 kg of specialty coffee in total: our washed Colombia from Aipecito (Huila) and our organic Colombia from Isnos (Huila). Both are 100% arabica, both are washed, and both come from the same region — but they taste noticeably different from one another.
What is the difference between the two coffees?
Comparing the two
The Colombia is the sweet, comforting one: hazelnut, chocolate and sugarcane, grown at 1,700 masl, 84 SCA points. The Organic is the bright, fruity one: caramel, strawberry and mandarin with a lively acidity, grown higher up at 1,880 masl, 85.5 SCA points, and certified organic. The higher altitude and the Geisha in the blend are what make the second one more aromatic and more complex.
Which one should I drink, and when?
Getting the best from each
The Colombia is the everyday one: it holds up to milk and shines in espresso or a moka pot, so it is the one for the morning rush. The Organic asks for filter — V60 or French press — and to be drunk black, when you have ten minutes to actually taste it. Both work perfectly well in a bean-to-cup machine if that is what you have.
Why buy the pack instead of one kilo of a single coffee?
Why two coffees
Because a kilo of the same coffee gets monotonous, and because tasting two coffees side by side is the fastest way to learn what you actually like. Same country, same region, same process — so any difference you notice comes down to the altitude, the varieties and the farm. It is also the easiest way to try the organic one without committing to a full kilo of it.
How long does 1 kg of coffee last?
Quantity and storage
Roughly: at around 15 g per filter cup, 1 kg gives you about 65 cups; at around 7 g per espresso, quite a few more. For one person drinking a couple of coffees a day, that is around a month. Keep the bags closed, away from light and heat, and grind just before brewing if you can — that is where most of the aroma is lost.
Does it come as whole beans or ground?
Beans or ground
Whole beans keep their aroma far longer, which is why we recommend them and why we roast to order. If you do not have a grinder, check the options on this page before adding the pack to your basket — and bear in mind each coffee suits a different grind, since one is for espresso or moka and the other for filter.
